KidloLand App Review and Giveaway

My almost 3 year old absolutely loves learning. She constantly wants to know what things are, how they work, what their names are, she loves reading and coloring and singing, it’s just so sweet to watch her grow. Sometimes when I’m trying to make dinner, I’ve found that having her use the KidloLand app has truly been amazing for so many reasons. My favorite part of this app is that it is educational. There are so many options that she can choose from: games, songs, activities, stories, puzzles, nursery rhymes and so much more: all the options seem endless. Not only is she being entertained, but she is learning! The app teaches about different fruits, vegetables, animals, ABC’s, numbers, and while she plays with each activity she is actively learning.

Just last night she was playing one of the games where the numbers 1-10 float up on the screen and as she tapped each number, it would “pop” and a voice would say the number as she popped it. She was thrilled and began to count along as she popped the numbers. I actually stopped making dinner so that I could watch her excitedly count and play and learn. When she was done with this, she wanted to explore more and settled on the stories. She was thrilled to listen to stories about different animals (her current favorite thing right now) and would tell me her version of the story once it ended.

I feel like this app can be so very helpful to parents so that they can get some small things done like make a quick dinner or finish a load of laundry, and it’s super helpful to children too as they are learning through play. Instead of mindlessly watching tv while I pop something in the oven, I can now interact with her and encourage her as she recognizes numbers, letters, fruits and vegetables on this app. I continue to read to her (and my baby) every day, and we do so many activities outside that it is a real treat for her to get some time to play on Mama’s “big girl phone” and learn on this truly amazing educational and interactive app. I would highly recommend it to my friends for their children as well. In fact just yesterday my friend mentioned that she was going on a train ride with her toddler and I mentioned how this app could help entertain her daughter and what a nice learning tool it is as well. I love that my daughter is so interested in learning, and I feel like this app is such a nice treat for her when I need to get something done.

About Me
Nicole Benedum has been a stay at home mom for the past 3 years. Before she took on this glorious (and sometimes not so glorious) role of "All Things Motherhood", she was a Human Resources Generalist. Her days were spent dealing with legal compliance, benefits, leave of absences and everything Human Resources related. Now her days are spent breastfeeding, changing diapers, conquering potty training, tantrums and sleepless nights. She has two kiddos; a 2 year old toddler named Emily, and a baby boy named Owen. She met her husband, Sam, in college when they were both on the swim team, and they have been together ever since. She is a huge breastfeeding advocate, gentle/crunchy parent (for the most part) and a former student athlete (water polo and swimming, woot woot!) both in high school and in college. At some point in the future she has dreams of going back to the gym and/or pool. For now she shall continue counting breastfeeding and holding a 35 pound toddler and 15 pound baby as her workouts.
